For all areas other than legs Perron Rigot non-strip wax is used. Perron Rigot has turned waxing into a premier beauty treatment and their non-strip wax (hot wax) is highly recommended for the more sensitive and intimate parts of the body.

Count Christian de Garets was responsible for introducing polymers into depilation products which has revolutionised the waxing industry. The polymers make the waxes more pliable and less sticky than the traditional waxes.

Although the non-strip wax is known as “hot wax” it actually is only warmed on a low heat until it becomes creamy in texture. It can then “shrink-wrap” round the hair which results in an easier and more comfortable removal and causes little, if any, skin irritation.

Hopi Ear Candles are hand made structures. They are hollow tubes moulded from natural linen fabric impregnated with honey and powdered Indian medicinal herbs including: – Sage, St Johns Wort and Camomile.

The treatment of Hopi Ear Candles lasts approximately one hour. It involves positioning a candle in one of the ears and allowing it to burn to a measured level before gently removing it and extinguishing it in water.

The ear is then massaged to stimulate the pressure points on the ear, lymph nodes around the ear and the general blood flow through the ear. The second ear is then worked on in the same way before the entire face is worked on with a pressure point and drainage massage to stimulate the general release of blockages in the sinuses and ears and the flow of lymph and blood.
